Meet the Smiles on Madison team of dentists
Jonathan Vo, DMD, MSE
"Dr. Jonathan Vo was born and raised in Sugar Land, Texas, and had inspirations to become a dentist ever since high school. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology, at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Master of Science in Engineering with a focus in Bioengineering at the University of Pennsylvania, and Doctor of Dental Medicine also at the University of Pennsylvania. He graduated from dental school as the top producer in his class focusing his work on esthetic and prosthodontic dentistry in the Honors in Clinical Dentistry program. He completed all of his education at just 25 years of age making him one of the nation's youngest and brightest dentists!
Wanting to deliver the best care possible, he completed additional advanced training in a GPR residency at the VA Puget Sound in Seattle, Washington. There he continued his focus on transforming smiles with intense training in implant placement, periodontal and oral surgeries, and complex esthetic and full mouth reconstructions.
During his residency, Dr. Vo fell in love with all that the beautiful Pacific Northwest has to offer. He has been a member of the Smiles on Madison family since September 2015. Outside of the office, Dr. Vo enjoys photography, hiking, kayaking, and exploring new restaurants and bars."
Bill Wong DDS
Dr. Wong is a Northwest native originally from Seattle, Washington, and has resided in the Seattle/Bellevue area for the past 25 years.
Dr. Bill Wong has been living around the Seattle area for roughly 25 years and has been building his career since he graduated from the University Of Washington School Of Dentistry. Accompanying this dream is his oath to ensure the consistency in the quality of service he renders for the public.
“I’ve always enjoyed working with people and the community, so dentistry was a natural career choice for me. My mission is to educate, motivate, and promote good oral health that will last a lifetime.” As far as his mission goes, it has been established that his services are guaranteed to be worth the price. According to a few reviews from his own patients, Dr. Wong is “very patient and thorough with his treatment explanations.” Because of the way he handles his procedures, patients have said that he has helped them learn to overcome their fear of dentists.
His role as a cosmetic dentist is not just limited to finding a solution to his patient’s problems. He and his team aim to provide absolute comfort and doubtless excellent quality. With the breakthrough in technology and dentistry, it has become much easier to foster a relationship where open communication has improved the patient’s understanding of the processes. This, in turn, helps ease the patient throughout the entire procedure. Moreover, the rise of modern technology has paved the way towards results with higher accuracy and better quality.
Alongside his clinical duties, Dr. Wong widens his reach by maintaining his position as a faculty member in both the University of Washington Dental School and Lake Washington Technical College. Furthermore, he is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Washington State Dental Association, the Seattle King County Dental Society, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies Alumni.
Outside dentistry, Dr. Wong spends some of his time playing ice hockey and golf. At other times, he goes hiking. But more than any other recreational activity, he prefers to devote most of his free time to his wife Juliana and their children Maya and Ava.
Peter Wong DDS
Dr. Wong is a Seattle native. He studied Psychology and Zoology during his undergraduate studies at the University of Washington.
Dr. Peter Wong is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Washington State Dental Association (WSDA) and the Seattle King County Dental Society (SKCDS). He took up undergraduate studies in Psychology and Zoology at the University of Washington and later on finished at the Northwestern University in Chicago where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (DDS) in 1999. After being in the Dean’s List and graduating with honors, Dr. Wong worked an internship program at the DECOD Department at the University of Washington. His patients were handicapped people. After the internship, Dr. Wong worked part-time as an affiliate-instructor at both the University of Washington Dental School Restorative Department and the Lake Washington Technical College. Since he earned his dental degree in 1999, he has been carrying out his services at the Greater Seattle/Bellevue area. He is currently continuing with his education in orthodontics and implants despite already being Invisalign certified. Invisalign is the new procedure that involves installing braces that are practically invisible and easily removable. In 2010, Dr. Peter Wong was voted as one of the Top Dentists in America by the Consumers’ Research Council of America.
Dr. Wong needs no fancy philosophy to live by. According to him, the needs of his patients are his first priority.
“I truly enjoy helping people. I believe that taking care of them is a privilege and an honor that shouldn’t be taken for granted. Treat patients the way you want to be treated and be honest with them. I strive for perfection, therefore my goal is to give my patients the best in customer care and quality of work.”
Needless to say, Dr. Peter Wong is not after the material returns of his services. For him, putting their needs on a pedestal is tantamount to fulfilling his personal goals. For him, there is no price tag on customer satisfaction.
When Dr. Wong is off duty, he spends his time with Leona, to whom he is happily married. They have two children, Christian and Isabella.
Kamal Bajwa DDS
Dr. Kamal H. Bajwa has been a dentist in the Seattle and Burien area for 8 years. He graduated from Northwestern University Dental School in 1999.
Dr. Kamal Bajwa is a dentist well-known for his concern for his patients. For eight years, he has been working in the Seattle and Burien area.
Dr. Bajwa was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. In 1999, he graduated from the Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago, a school established by G.V. Black, the Father of Dentistry. Dr. Bajwa only moved back to the Pacific Northwest when he had married his wife Sobia. As he continues his education, he only excels more in his field of work.
“We treat our patients as we would our own families, with respect, and care for their overall well-being.” That is the motto that Dr. Bajwa lives by. Overrated as it seems, this dentist puts prime in his patients’ dental experience and ensures that their visit will be comforting and hassle-free. This professional in General Dentistry has earned himself much respect from his own patients. They have pegged his team as friendly, efficient and courteous. His office is clean and well-furnished to give his patients a sense of comfort. Appointments can be easily made, especially for urgent cases. Dr. Bajwa never tries to rush a session and knows exactly how much time and attention he should give the patient. All these testimonials show that he has earned the trust of his patients, which is one of the most important things they could give you. And overall, they said that they would not think twice about recommending Dr. Bajwa to their networks.
Dr. Kamal Bajwa is a lifelong member of the American Dental Association. This organization holds outreach programs that the doctor continually supports and endorses. He is also a member of the Premier Study Club, an organization that has long been established and given due recognition. The regular meetings that this club holds has a well-defined agenda to discuss all possible issues that concern dentistry, especially those that involve implants. He is also a member of the International Association of Orthodontics and Invisalign, the new procedure that involves installing braces that are practically invisible and easily removable. His memberships in different organizations have helped him study the relationship between occlusion, tooth positioning and restorations of crowns and fillings. Despite having specialized in the field of General Dentistry, Dr. Bajwa has shown much interest in Cosmetic Dentistry, which has led him to do work involving bleaching, veneers and even lumineers, a procedure similar to that of veneers’, except that lumineers require neither shot nor drill.
When Dr. Bajwa is off duty, he spends his time with his wife Sobia and their two children.
