Composite Fillings
Composite fillings are tooth-colored materials that help fill any part of your tooth that is decayed. The dentist simply removes the decayed portion while you are anesthetized and cleans it thoroughly to make sure that no bacteria are left when the tooth is filled. If the decayed area is close to the nerves and is sensitive to touch, then additional medication will be provided to ensure the patient’s comfort. You will then be given clear instructions as to how to manage the restoration.
